Take a screenshot on a Chromebook

To take a screenshot on a Chromebook, you can use the keyboard or the Screen Capture tool:

Keyboard

Press Ctrl + Show Windows to capture the entire screen, or Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows to capture a part of the screen. If your external keyboard doesn't have a Show Windows key, you can use Ctrl + Shift + F5. 

Screen Capture tool

Go to Quick Settings, select Screen Capture, and choose what to capture. You can capture the entire screen, a single window, or a specific part of the screen. You can also record your screen. 

Once you take a screenshot, it will be saved as a .png file in your Downloads folder. You can also find it in Tote on your shelf, and it will be copied to your Clipboard. 

To create a screenshot on a Chromebook, press the "Print Screen" button located on the top row of keyboard keys.

This will capture the entire screen.

Alternatively, you can use the "Screenshot" tool in the Chrome OS keyboard settings to capture a specific window or selected area.
